Youth Good Character Awards

Student Recognition Opportunity!

Fifth Annual Rotary Youth Good Character Award Program

Up to 20 students will be honored by the community, state, congressional and FSUSD leaders at a special ceremony to be held on February 11, 2022. Nominations for high school juniors and seniors will be accepted from FSUSD teachers, counselors, and administrative personnel.

The program is designed to recognize those who exemplify the Rotary Four-Way Test. The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and many Rotarians recite it at club meetings.

Students selected are those who exemplify the Rotary Four-Way Test:

  • Is it the truth? (Honesty, truthfulness)

  • Is it fair to all concerned? (Fairness)

  • Will it build good will and better friendships? (Kindness, consideration)

  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned? (Helping others)

Nominations are being received now and up until December 17, 2021.
