Digital X-Ray Machine Project – India

Rotary Club of Fairfield-Suisun (District 5160), in partnership with the Rotary Club Amritsar Premier (India) and local healthcare partners, successfully implemented a Digital X-Ray Machine project to improve access to diagnostic services in underserved communities.

Project Overview

Access to timely and accurate diagnosis is critical for effective medical treatment. Many patients in rural and semi-urban regions in India face delays due to lack of modern diagnostic equipment. This project addressed that gap by installing a state-of-the-art digital X-ray system at a charitable healthcare facility serving economically weaker populations.

• Reduce patient wait times and dependence on distant facilities

Also, the Rotary Club Premier in India will keep us regularly updated with progress; sharing pictures, reports, and data such as the number of patients treated using this facility. This gives us good visibility and accountability for the impact we are creating.
